"As I've mentioned in the past, most Android phones are more powerful than my first few computers. The next logical step is running those desktop operating systems on our smartphone hardware. Android on the HTC HD2

The folks at XDA developers are working on porting Android to the HTC HD2. This is their first attempt, and while it's far from where it needs to be, it's a great first step. It's actually the Sense UI version of Android 2.1, similar to what you'll find on the HTC Desire. Not working: pretty much everything. No radios work, and the software is extremely buggy.
